Notice: Harold J. Plenderleith Memorial Lecture 2026 The Indian Association for the Study of Conservation of Cultural Property (IASC), in collaboration with Humayun's Tomb Museum, Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA), and the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, is pleased to present the Harold J. Plenderleith Memorial Lecture 2026. This year's memorial lecture, "Who Was Harold J. Plenderleith?", will be delivered by Mr. Gaël de Guichen (France), an internationally renowned conservation expert and one of the pioneers of Preventive Conservation. The lecture celebrates the remarkable legacy of Harold J. Plenderleith, whose pioneering work laid the foundation of modern heritage conservation. It offers an exceptional opportunity for conservation professionals, museum curators, scientists, archivists, librarians, researchers, students, and heritage practitioners to engage with one of the world's leading experts in the field. Notice : Extension of Paper Submission Deadline The deadline for submission of full-length research papers has been extended from May 21, 2026 to May 31, 2026. This extension has been granted considering requests received from researchers and to provide an equal opportunity to all IASC members, including those who could not present papers at the previous conference but wish to contribute research on heritage conservation.
