If you are a conservator, heritage professional, or someone working in the field of conservation to safeguard India’s cultural heritage—whether in a museum, institution, or as an independent practitioner—you are invited to become a member of IASC.

Join India’s conservation community! If you work to protect, restore, or promote our nation’s cultural heritage—as a conservator, museum expert, or institutional professional—become a member of IASC today.

As an individual or institutional member you will receive:

• Access to a global peer network of experts in the study of the commons — enabling collaboration, knowledge exchange and cross-disciplinary engagement.
• Reduced fees for IASC conferences, workshops and events.
• Discounts on publication fees.
• Regular updates via newsletter, announcements, and access to members-only resources (such as forums, directories).
• Opportunity to contribute your own case studies, announcements or events to the IASC community.

Membership Categories:

IASC offers different membership types to suit organisations and individuals interested in the commons:

Individual Membership – For scholars, practitioners, early-career researchers, and others with a personal interest in commons.

Institutional Membership – For organisations, universities, NGOs or networks working on common issues globally.

How to Join:

• Complete the application form with Rs 100 as one time non-refundable registration fee – Provide your organisation details, membership category and main focus areas.
• Review & approval – Your application will be reviewed by the IASC Secretariat to ensure alignment with our mission.
• Activate membership – Upon approval you will be notified and invoiced for the membership fee. Once payment is received you will become a full member and gain access to member-only resources.
• Get involved – Immediately you can start participating in working WhatsApp groups, events, webinars, and tap into the member network.
